I started out in Aerospace as an avionics engineer

In 1990 I moved to Poole on the south coast of England and worked for

Echopilot where I designed their ground-breaking forward looking sonar

system

In 1997 I formed Active Research Limited, which as a design consultancy

created many designs for leading marine electronics corporations

The Actisense brand name was registered in 2001 to create new products for

the marine market.

Actisense is a member of the NMEA 2000 and OneNet standards meetings.
